A fashion parade was held with clothing from Emily’s on Saturday, May 20 at the Sporties, with 72 people in attendance.
The View club had 10 members act as models and all looked really good....look out Elle and Jennifer!
The club was entertained at the monthly dinner meeting on May 22 by the Great Lakes Filipino dance group, who also took the time to try and teach some of their dance moves to members and guests.
This idea was wonderful in theory, but in practical terms, the ladies have a lot to learn!
All 78 members and guests had so much fun during the lesson.
The club has quite a few plans in the pipeline including a Christmas in July cruise, a shopping trip to Newcastle, a soup and damper day, just to name just a few.
About 48 people in total will be going to Sydney via coach for Vivid Sydney.
This will include an overnight stay as well as a cruise on the harbour.
So, lots of busy days are ahead, having fun and raising funds for the Smith Family who, in turn, assist in the education of underprivileged children.
VIEW stands for the Voice, Interests and Education of Women.
This organisation is a great way to meet and make new friends and having fun while doing it.
If you are interested in becoming a member of our View club, feel free to come along to a dinner meeting held on the fourth Monday of the month at the Sporties at 6 pm.
Make yourself known at the door and one of the View club members will greet you and make you feel very welcome.
