Inside the Tuncurry’s Aaqua Marine Day Spa, things were out of place and cupboards were open and bare.
Thieves had broken into the day spa on Thursday evening taking up to $7000 worth of stock, including $3000 worth of body jewellery.
Many other beauty products were stolen including Napoleon Perdis make-up and high-end skincare brands only sold at Aaqua, including Ultraceuticals and Pevonia.
Catherine said it felt as though her business of 10 years had been ‘violated’.
“You work extremely hard to get ahead and it’s disheartening to now be pushed two steps backwards,” Catherine said.
Catherine said it was a relief the spa was not damaged or vandalised meaning they could still trade in the space.
However, body piercing is unavailable due to the body jewellery being stolen.
“I’d built that collection up over a number of years,” she added.
