EARLIER: AN offshore earthquake at 6.55pm (AEST) near Forster has caused a tremor in the Manning-Great Lakes area.
Residents from as far as Old Bar, Upper Lansdowne and Harrington have reported movement.
Geoscience Australia is reporting the earthquake at a magnitude of 3.3 and estimated the earthquake could be felt by up to 31 kilometres away. However, residents report further distances.
