On Australia Day about 20 members enjoyed an early morning “shoot” and barbecue breakfast at Danny and Pam Dunne’s Coolongolook farm. A terrific time was had by all with guided walks to see the many animals on the farm including horses, cows, goats and deer.
This month’s judge for the set subject was Di Coglan, a retired academic with expertise in communication through Information technology and multimedia.
Di’s interest in photography evolved from her teaching and the arrival of the digital age in photography. She enjoys travelling overseas and this has given her many opportunities to develop some photographic skill under a variety of conditions.
A keen user of Photoshop, Di appreciates the creative side of digital photography that it allows. She enjoys the photo Ccub culture and is fortunate to belong to a club with members who support and share their knowledge with each other.
For her, judging is just another way of sharing knowledge.
This month’s open judge was Greg Delavere LAPS who is an FCC accredited judge.
Now retired, Greg travels in his motor home up and down the coast from his home town in Wollongong. As a keen photographer on the coast he enjoys all types of photography but one of his favourites is sports action including surf carnivals
