The group participated in a community clean up in Forster Tuncurry from Paradise Marina to Spice Monkey, picking up items strewn across the area.
The group collated numerous items including cigarette butts, glass bottles, cups, plates, cardboard and general waste.
The group is calling on the local community to preserve the ocean and environment by cleaning up their own litter.
The next community clean up takes place next Wednesday, January 25 in time for Australia Day celebrations.
Volunteers are encouraged to meet at the end of Point Road in Tuncurry.
