Old Bar fire | More than 60 hectares burnt

The Old Bar fire, which started on Monday afternoon, is being contained and has so far burnt out 60 hectares.

At its height it had the potential to impact on up to 200 homes in the area.

The fire is being treated as suspicious and a crime scene has been established pending further investigation by the authorities.

The public are being urged to avoid the area due to the risk from falling trees and limbs with some remaining hot spots.
