The event began with a morning tea followed by lots of fun and laughter as various tasks were undertaken on the green, sweet treat rewards were received as prizes - and all was accompanied by music.
Lunch was a barbecue and salad prepared by friends from the men’s club headed by John Fletcher - a great job and thank you.
There was a massive array of prizes to choose from in the mega raffle and Karen Brymer from the local quilters group donated a beautiful quilt in a separate raffle.
We also had a 100 club and a book sale.
In all, including money taken in the past from our trading tables and wrong bias tin we raised $1800. What a great achievement.
All the monies raised will go to the local hospice.
Thank you to all who participated including members from our own club and those from the other bowling clubs who helped to make it a great day.
A big thank you to all of the ladies of our club who gave their time to make the day such a wonderful success.
A great day was had by all.
