However, it was back to business for September when the boats went out on the weekend of September 16-17.
Results were:
Largest flathead, Frank Harshmann, 0.910; largest snapper, Bill Szerzyn, 1.820 kg; largest trag; Ross Daley, 1.695kg; largest other species (leather jacket), Martyn Barry, 0.815 - Morwong.
Nine members of the club, in five fishing boats participated in the September competitions, catching 77 fish, which weight in at 46.990kg.
Club Forster Bluewater Fishing Club conducts Fishing competitions on the weekend of the third Sunday of each month, off shore of Forster from midnight Friday to noon Sunday.
Weigh-in is adjacent to the Forster Boat ramp at noon on Sunday.
A luncheon and monthly prize presentation is held at Club Forster from 2.30pm on the third Sunday of the month.
Our members enjoy fishing and also socialising and having fun.

Cost of joining our club is $10 with a $5 annual renewal fee and monthly fishing cost is $5 when you fish.
