Simon, who had a vintage season, was the only Hawk to make the side.
The team was announced at the Group Three award night held at the Wingham Services Club.
Prop Matt Kirkland was the best performed Forster-Tuncurry player in the player of the year award, polling 11 points despite missing a number of matches through injury.
Three Forster players were selected in the Group Three women’s league tag merit side. They were Kylie Hilder, Ashleigh Alcorn and Talara Morris. All were members of the East Coast side that won the inaugural Country Championship this year. Hilder was the captain.
Meanwhile Wingham Services Club will again be Group Three’s major sponsor for 2017.
Group Three’s grand finals will be played on Sunday.
