Jason was nominated by Green Point Rovers Football Club (FC) for his ongoing commitment and dedication to football over so many years of service.
“Jason has shown true dedication to Green Point Rovers FC for a significant period of time and the Newcastle Permanent Volunteer of the Month Award is well deserved,” NNSWF community football manager Peter Haynes said.
“The passion and commitment that Jason demonstrates goes a long way to ensuring that Green Point Rovers FC is a great place to play football and highlights how valuable he is to the club.”
Forster branch manager, Brett Willing, congratulated Jason on his recognition.
“We are delighted that a local volunteer has received this award and been recognised across Northern NSW for the incredible commitment they make to community football,” Willing said.
Jason will receive a volunteer jacket and bag courtesy of Newcastle Permanent to assist them in continuing to fulfil their valuable role at the club.
