Earlier this month family and friends remembered the life of one-time member Priscilla Jefferies (Emmerson) with an outdoor setting dedicated in her honour.

A life member and lady's patroness, Priscilla had a long association with the club.

She is sadly missed but lovingly and fondly remember by her many friends who turned out to be part of the celebration, Forster Tuncurry Golf Club ladies captain, Sue Bellamy said.

“I am sure as we sit on the setting at the back of the ninth green doing our golf score she will be looking down checking our score.

“Take a minute to remember a special friend who never gave up an opportunity to play the game she loved .”

After a few words by family and friends the gathering moved into the golf club for afternoon tea.
