Swimmers from throughout the Swimming North Coast catchment journeyed to the Ryde Aquatic Centre earlier this month to take part in this year's B and C Squad Meeting.

The two-day event drew swimmers from throughout the State, who were bused from north to south.
B and C squad members are swimmers who have qualified for NSW State championships.
Sixteen swimmers from eight area clubs entered 61 individual events and there were members of five relays over the weekend.
Head manager was Helen Phipps from Coffs Harbour club and she was supported by Richelle Welch, Kingscliff and Susan Dean Hickey, Sawtell as team managers, while Denial Bannerman was the team coach.
Swimmers to gain medals were Michaela Brickley, 13 from Trinity, Lismore, 12-13 50m freestyle, 1, 29.17 PB, 12-13 100m butterfly, 2 fly 1.10.19 PB and 13 and over 100m butterfly, 3, 1.09.31 PB. Tayla Crabtree 11, Trinity, Lismore, 11 and over 100m breast-stroke, 3, 1.27.53 PB.
Swimmers who gained top eight placings were Aysha Baldwin 3, Michaela Brickley 4 and Tayla Crabtree 5, Aidan Jensen 3 and Macy Jensen 1 all from Trinity, Lismore. Mitchell Hickey 1 Sawtell and Emily Kearny Gloucester 1.
Swimmers also gained top eight placings in three of the five relays entered.
