The boat and all the tables were beautifully decorated in the Christmas theme.
Jam and cream scones were provided for morning tea and these disappeared into our digestive systems very quickly.
Lunch, a traditional Christmas roast with turkey and ham followed by sweets, was served whilst we were cruising the Manning River.
Hats off to the staff...our meals were hot and very tasty.
On Monday, July 25 our usual dinner meeting attracted 80 members in attendance, and was again a Christmas in July.
The Christmas theme was obvious as soon as we walked in.
The tables and decorations were beautifully done by our program committee members;’great job.
We had a very interesting guest speaker in the form of one of our members, Liz Doorey, who gave us an insight into her most unusual life story.
VIEW stands for Voice, Interests and Education of Women with the Smith Family being the main beneficiary of fund raising to help support underprivileged children.
Dinner meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month at the Sporties 6pm for 6.30pm.
If you are interested in coming along to meet and make new friends, please do so. Everyone is welcome!
