"Many locals dedicate hours of knitting in support of this worthwhile cause and we hope the vibrant wraps will inspire regular Library customers to become involved in some way with the 'Wraps with Love' project" said the Library's Meredith Campbell.
Wraps with Love helps prevent millions of people worldwide from suffering during cold weather. Over the past 23 years, Wraps with Love have sent more than 400,000 wraps to people in 75 different countries.
Knit and Knatter meet in the library on the last Friday of each month from 10am until 12pm and new members are welcome to come along - just bring wool and needles.
Alternatively knitting at home is enabled by simple patterns for squares from the library. All donations are gratefully received.
