A 43-year-old man suffered a suspected spinal injury at Diamond Head beach on Sunday afternoon (February 14).

At around 1.15pm the Tamworth based Westpac Rescue Helicopter was flown to Diamond Head to assist the man who was dumped on a sand bank.
He was flown directly to Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney.
