Walkers met at Lone Pine Park in Tuncurry and made the pledge to stand up and be vocal against domestic violence.
They were then led across the Forster Tuncurry Bridge, down Memorial Drive and back through Wharf Street.
There, people eating their breakfast applauded the walkers as they went past while chanting slogans to end domestic violence.
When the walk ended back in Lone Pine Park, the walk's organisers said they were very pleased with the day's turnout and were looking forward to hosting next year's event.
