Daniel Kilham, who turned 95 on November 6, was behind the business’s success.
Daniel is a “mad” South Sydney Rabbitohs fan and according to his daughter Denise McNamara he watches, tapes and relives every match of the season.
Denise said Daniel found it to be a good season, but nothing could compare to last year’s “crowning glory” when the Rabbitohs won the grand final.
Denise said historically their family have been Rabbitohs supporters since 1914.
Daniel was extremely chuffed by his win in the Great lakes Advocate’s NRL footy tipping competition.
The business had decided to use his tips after he would continuously win their internal footy tipping competition.
This year he won both.
“He’s very switched on,” said Denise.
