Groundswell Gloucester member Thomas Davey said the group had already organised 20 similar walks since last year.
“All the people who are walking and protesting are concerned about water quality and the health of the community,” Mr Davey said.
“Overall, there was a really good turnout to the weekend’s walk considering the rain.”
There are two more walks planned for Wingham and Taree early next year.
