Clubs from throughout NSW and the ACT gathered in Forster to take part in the event. Instead of competing as an individual, the triathlon pits clubs against each other for honours.
The distance was made up of a 1km swim from Forster Main Beach, a 30km bike ride and an 8km run.
Twenty members of the local tri club competed over the weekend. Eight of them were backing up from taking part in the Ironman at Port Macquarie only a few weeks ago, so their efforts in racing again so soon was appreciated by their club.
The award presentations were held at Club Forster following the event.
