At one stage one of our sides was down by 13 shots but as the game went on it became a closer affair and on the last end Forster was two shots ahead. The Tuncurry boys had to play the last two bowls but were unsuccessful in their attempt to draw or win making Forster the winners. The sevens are now known as the magnificent sevens.

Priceline Chemists again this year will be the sponsors of the Mother’s Day mixed pairs on May 10. There will be three games of three-bowl pairs with 15 ends. Each game with a 9am start, the cost is $12 per person including lunch. Total prize money is $580. Entry form at the bowls office. Day to support Breast Cancer come in pink. Single entry accepted.
