Bulahdelah and Smiths Lake are now fully operational.
"Stroud and Tea Gardens/Hawks Nest continue to be challenging environments to operate in, with both sewage treatment plants still without power," a spokesperson said.
"All pump stations in Stroud have power and are operating, as is the water treatment plant.
"Generators are being used in Tea Gardens to assist and pump trucks are still operating in the area. Again, the water treatment plant is operating."
The water company says that water supplies in all areas are unaffected and safe to use.
Wednesday April 22: AN update on impacts to MidCoast Water's infrastructure and services:
Bulahdelah - power returned at 3am and all our sewer pump stations are now operating. The sewage treatment plant is still without power. Residents are advised the water treatment plant is operating and the water supply is unaffected.
Stroud - power has returned, all sewer pump stations are operating. The sewage treatment p...lant is not yet operating, however the water treatment plant is operating and the water supply is unaffected.
Tea Gardens - All sewer pump stations are operating, apart from one near the pool, and the water supply is fine.
Hawks Nest - still no power and sewage pump stations are being emptied by pump trucks, which ran through the night.
Smiths Lake - sewage pump stations being emptied by pump trucks.
Residents are reminded the water supplies in all areas are unaffected and are safe to use.
Tuesday April 21: THIS statement was released by MidCoast Water at 4.30pm: Parts of our service area have been severely affected by overnight storms - with heavy rains and high tides continuing to cause problems for customers.
The Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest area is still without power and we have pump trucks in the area emptying sewer pump stations.
Bulahdelah is also without power and the majority of our infrastructure is underwater.
While power is back on at Stroud, there are access difficulties and our sewage treatment plant is not yet operational.
There is no power in the Smiths Lake region and sewer pump stations are also being emptied by pump trucks.
Crews will continue to work throughout the evening.
All residents in these are advised that all drinking water is perfectly safe. We will provide an update in the morning.
