Police say at about 5:30am a man had parked his truck in a southern breakdown zone along the Pacific Highway near Coolongolook when the driver of a B-Double passing by clipped the side of his vehicle.
The impact from the B-Double sent the smaller truck off the road where it rolled before coming to a halt.
Police and paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after. The driver in the parked truck suffered minor chest injuries and cuts to his face. He was taken by ambulance to Manning Base Hospital.
Meanwhile, the driver of the B-Double had no injuries. He was breath tested at the scene and returned a negative result.
Manning-Great Lakes Local Area Command Acting Inspector Matthew Hinton said the accident is currently under investigation.
