THE Club Pairs Championship was won by Mike Pole and Roger Pike who defeated Tony Harris who was a substitute for Don Beuzeville and John Lazarevich in a very close game.

Priceline Chemists again this year will be the sponsors of the Mother’s Day Mixed Pairs on May 10. There will be three games of three bowl pairs with 15 ends each game and a 9am start. The cost is $12 per person including lunch. Total prize money is $580. Entry forma at the Bowls Office. It is a day to support the fight against breast cancer so come in pink.
The Major Singles and Minor Singles is now open and the entry sheet is on the notice board. Entries close on April 10 for major singles and April 17 for the minor singles.
The Road Runners next event is on May 3, 9am for 9.30 am start. We have a visit from Lemon Tree Passage so if we could bring a small plate for morning tea please. Bowls will be a scrounge game and lunch is a chicken and champagne extravaganza with orange juice too of course. Cost per head is $17 and the booking sheet is at the bowls office.
