She was reported missing by her parents but at the time of her disappearance had been living between Forster and Taree.
Police say she was located this morning (April 2) living at a home in Forster.
The Department of Family and Community Services is now trying to find the most suitable accommodation for her.
EARLIER THIS WEEK: POLICE are concerned for the welfare of a 14-year-old girl who has been missing for more than two weeks.
Taylah Richardson was last seen in Forster on Saturday, March 14.
Police say it is believed she may have been residing at friends houses between Forster and Taree but have been unsuccessful in locating her.
Taylah was a student at Great Lakes College. The NSW Department of Education declined to comment on her disappearance.
Police have serious concerns for Taylah's welfare.
