The focus of the day was on inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.
Students and staff came to school dressed in national costumes or the Harmony Day colour orange.
Throughout the day they enjoyed foods from different cultures, held a poster competition and had some fun painting faces of students with images of harmony and peace.
Parents and friends then enjoyed a Harmony Day assembly where some students were acknowledged with special certificates for demonstrating kindness and getting along with others.
All students sang the song ‘A Little Love in our Heart’ and paraded their costumes. It was wonderful to see everyone at the school embrace this important day.
