Neil Pizarra caught the largest flathead, weighing it in at 0.860kg. Pizarra also won the largest other species category, with a John Dory weighing 1.475kg.
The largest snapper came in at 3.935kg, caught by Sam Marlow. Bill Szynszyn caught the largest trag at 2.910kg. Martyn Barry had the most points with 247.233.
A total of 16 fishermen on eight boats took to the water for the competition, including three visitors with 115 fish caught, weighing a total of 87.70kg.
Club Forster Fishing Club holds off shore fishing competitions on the third Sunday of each month from 6am to 12pm. Weigh-ins take place at 12pm, adjacent to the Forster boat ramp. A luncheon and monthly prize presentation is later held at Club Forster at 2.30pm.
