All southbound lanes of the Pacific Highway have reopened about seven kilometres north of Myall Way in Tea Gardens after a car and caravan accident.

Traffic is heavy in the area with motorists advised to continue to allow additional travel time as traffic returns to normal.
Additionally heavy holiday traffic southbound on the Pacific Highway between Tintenbar and Ewingsdale has now eased and traffic has returned to normal in the area.
EARLIER TODAY: ALL southbound lanes are closed on the Pacific Highway north of Tea Gardens after a four-wheel-drive towing a caravan rolled.
The driver is trapped and traffic is backed up for several kilometres and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter has been called to the scene and is landing on the highway.
The accident occurred 10km north of the Tea Garden turn off.
The accident occurred at around noon today (October 2) 7km north of Myall Way.
