The winners were Rick Bateson and Jill Garel; second place Carole Wright and Jack Turner; third place Julie and Tom Hamilton; fourth place Sue Baldwin and Aub Judge; pm winners Gina Pain and John Clifford; and am winners Anne and Greg Taylor
It was not only a great day of bowls but the raffle raised $209 which will be given to Great Lakes Prostate Cancer Support Group. Priceline as usual were very generous for the Father’s Day gifts for all 30 fathers who were playing.
Due to the completion of only four of the 11 club events being completed the match committee have had to concertina the play by dates for the remaining number of events.
All events have a close off date and the time is 1pm. Close off dates: Patron Pairs, September 19; Novice Singles, October 10; Mixed Pairs October 17; and Mixed Fours October 31. Before you enter please check the play by dates as these have also been changed with the full details on the notice board.
The pennant season has arrived again and the list of those wanting to play is on the notice board.
