AT the Bluewater Fishing Club's annual presentation Martyn Barry claimed the highest points for the men and in the women’s division it was Dale Hall on the highest points.

The skipper/boat with the highest points was Martyn Barry and runner up Bill Szerszyn.
Heavies species awards went to Andrew Robinson (snapper); Martyn Barry (flathead); Tony Mellows (Morwong); Martyn Barry (mulloway); Henry Perram (teraglin); Woody Bullen (travally); Martyn Barry (kingfish); Tony Mellows (pearl perch); Matt Tubb (tailor); Martyn Barry (leatherjacket); and Martyn Barry (dolphin fish).

We also had some special awards for outstanding feats performed throughout the year:
o Peter Smith: Most Unusual Bait Award for taking a frozen leg of pork by mistake.
o Henry Perram, Jim Haworth and Neil Pizarro: Bung Plug Award for launching their boats with missing bungs.
o Henry Perram: Have a Heart Award for throwing his whole heart into fishing.
o Martyn Barry: Most Unusual Catch Award for putting his hook right through his finger and still went on to win the round.
o Martyn Barry: Phone a Friend Award after running out of fuel out at sea.
o Peter Rayner: Jack Knife Award when he jack knifed a boat trailer over the length of four wheels.
o Laurie Simpson: Boat Launch Award for dropping his boat on the boat ramp.
o Wayne Hall: GPS Award because he manages to lose all his weigh points every time he touches his GPS.
o Dale Hall: Short Digit Decky Award after losing part of her finger after an attempted rescue of a fellow fisherman who had broken down.
