Archie Blanch was well-known local identity and one of the Manning and Great Lakes most respected freelance photographers. This image was taken during the annual Blessing of the Fleet ceremony on Tuncurry foreshore. The Blessing of the Fleet is a tradition brought to the area by the Italian fishermen who had a strong influence on the local fishing industry.
There are no names or date documented with this image.
