WILD weather didn't stop thousands of people turning out for the Anzac Day service at Club Forster in 2014. The service went ahead at the last minute despite an earlier blackout.
A record number of people attended the dawn service held on Little Street and the 11am service at Club Forster.
Severe thunderstorms meant organisers were forced to cancel the Anzac march from Wharf Street to Little Street and had to move the event indoors to Club Forster.
