ANOTHER great Sporties 100 club day was held on Easter Saturday morning with 120 members taking part and enjoying a great morning of bowls followed by a king prawn and chicken lunch.

Seven hundred dollars worth of prizes were distributed to about 50 participants and, apart from the fabulous lunch, half price drinks were served from noon to 3pm. A big thank you to Chick, Cec and all the helpers who made the day such a huge success once again.
The final of the major singles championship was played on Easter Sunday afternoon and the result was that Dennis Lawler defeated Rob Studdert.
A total of 36 ends were required to reach the decision and the final score was 31 shots to 21. Congratulations to both players for a game which was enjoyed by a large gallery of supporters.
