Looking for something to keep the children entertained during the school holidays? Worried you might just get driven up the wall, especially if the weather’s not kind?
On Wednesday April 16 from 9.30am to noon the Forster Library is hosting a very special activity, called Frugal Forest.
Children will be able to help make an amazing forest out of salvaged materials. So, if you think your children would love to be involved in something crafty, with a really great environmental message then this is just the event for you.
Better yet – it’s totally free and morning tea is provided. If you want to find out more about the Frugal Forest project, check out their website – www.frugalforest.oneoffmakery.net.au
Then on Wednesday April 23 the library will be hosting a balloon modelling workshop with balloon modeller extraordinaire, Columbine. This will run from 10am to 11am.
It should be heaps of fun. The cost is only $5 per child and morning tea will be provided.
Both events are expected to be very popular, so bookings are essential. They can be made by phoning 6591 7256 or just drop in to the library and let them know you’ll be there.
