Redgum Avenue ... the aftermath of the fire at Cronulla.
Human remains were found amongst a burnt-out house in south Sydney today, police say.
The Cronulla house was ablaze about 5:30 on Thursday afternoon. Emergency services extinguished the blaze and evacuated nearby homes.
The fire was treated as suspicious. Forensic police examining the crime scene this afternoon discovered what they believe to be human remains.
Police and Fire and Rescue NSW say they will continue to examine the crime scene tonight.
