Fellow incumbent Len Roberts’ group was next, with Cr Carol McCaskie seeking re-election at number two on the Roberts ticket.
Deputy Mayor Jon Stephens’ group of six candidates was drawn third with Cr John Weate’s Labor group drawn fourth.
Mayor Jan McWilliams’ group was next with Cr Karen Hutchinson seeking re-election at number two on the McWilliams ticket.
A new group of candidates led by Tony Summers was drawn sixth with Cr Leigh Vaughan’s group seventh and Cr Mike Tuffy’s group the last drawn from the barrel.
