LAST week we asked you to vote in our online poll titled: ‘How would you rate the current council?’
The results were

Now we want you to tell us what questions we should be asking our candidates in the lead up to the local government election on September 8.
We already know that all nine of our current councillors are putting their hand up again for another term.
Last week we heard from new candidate Jim Morwitch and this week a whole new group has announced their intention to run (see page 6).
Nominations for local government elections open on Monday (July 30) and close on August 8. As new candidates put their hands up, we will keep you informed.

In the lead up to the election we will endeavour to pose some of these reader questions and publish the answers.
