AUSTRALIA’S Got Talent judge Dannii Minogue is sold on Phly Crew following their semi-final performance which aired on Channel Seven last night.
“I loved it from start to end” Minogue said. “You guys throw in the comedy, and it’s what you do well so I just thought it was great.”
Fellow judges Brian McFadden and Kyle Sandilands also enjoyed the performance. “You guys are definitely the best hip hop act we’ve had this year,” McFadden said.
Sandilands said that, whilst he enjoyed the performance, it lacked a big defining moment. “The comedy was excellent the dancing was good but for me it just lacked that big kapow moment.”
Phly Crew are now relying on viewer votes to earn a spot in the finals alongside singer-songwriter Mark Lowndes and beat-boxer Genesis, but will face stiff competition for the remaining two finals berths from stripper Dylan Yeandle and five-piece band Flowers For Midnight whom Brian McFadden has called “the red hot favourite to win this competition.”
The general public can now vote for their favourite contestant from last night’s show.
The top three most popular acts via public vote will return next week with the most popular going straight through to the finals showdown and the judges to decide between the two remaining acts. To vote for Phly Crew call 1902 55 75 01 or SMS ‘PHLY’ to 1977 88 88.
