AN alleged fight between two men in a Forster cemetery over the weekend resulted in a firearm being discharged twice.
Between 10pm and midnight on Friday an 18-year-old man was in a Forster cemetery allegedly armed with a .22 calibre rifle.
Police will allege the rifle discharged twice as a 16-year-old male attempted to wrestle it from the man.
Nobody was injured during the incident.
About 2.45am on Saturday police arrested an 18-year-old Forster man.
Following his arrest police allegedly located and seized the firearm and a number of other firearms at a home in Likely St, Forster. The man was taken to Forster Police Station where he was charged with carrying a firearm likely to cause injury, possessing a firearm whilst unlicensed, and being armed with intent to intimidate.
He was refused bail and appeared at Forster Local Court on Saturday where he was granted conditional bail to reappear today.
